Overview
Greco Hot Air Convection Dryers are designed to be the most efficient and economical parts dryers available. Our foam-insulated, double-walled heavy duty stainless steel construction ensures quick heat-up time and long equipment life. The air in the drying chamber is continuously circulated, making Greco Hot Air Dryers significantly more energy-efficient than dryers that exhaust large amounts of heated air. All air passes through an in-line MERV-4 air filter so only clean, hot air is directed at the work piece.
Our convection drying systems are offered in four standard styles. Each style has been carefully designed to solve specific drying problems
associated with particular part, rack and basket configurations, production requirements, and material handling considerations. Door mechanisms on our dryers can be mechanically assisted or completely automated.
Our Lab Style and Modular Top Load Hot Air Dryers offer the low production facility or laboratory an efficient and cost-effective drying option. For larger applications, our Industrial Top Load dryers offer larger chambers with greater heat and air flow. For taller parts, or for appliations where multiple shelves and top-down air flow are more suitable, a Front Load Dryer may be more appropriate. And of course, our Conveyor Dryers are suitable for continuous in-line production facilities.
So, whether you need to dry one small basket or several hundred racks per hour; whether your parts are medical instruments, electronic components, automotive equipment, aerospace components, or jewelry, Greco has drying equipment to suit your needs. All of our industrial dryers are designed to provide the utmost in ease of use and durability; and they are built to the high standards
of quality you've come to expect from Greco Brothers.
If you have a unique application that calls for a special drying system, we will be pleased to custom design a dryer to meet your individual requirements. And we can deliver your custom drying system with surprisingly short lead times at very competitive prices.

Modular Top Load Dryers
Our Modular Top Load (MT Models) hot air dryers are available in standard and custom sizes. The heated chamber is fully insulated and enclosed in an attractive stainless steel benchich is designed to match our ultrasonic cleaning benches. Removable front panels provide easy access to the blower and heater area. The sliding cover makes loading a breeze and the entire system requires very little floor space. Standard systems are available with compartment sizes ranging from 15" x 15" x 18" to 20" x 24" x 24". Larger systems or different configurations can be custom designed for nearly any drying application. All models include nominal filtration through a MERV4-rated aluminum or stainless steel filter. HEPA filtration and automated covers, designed to be controlled by a programmable lift system, are optionally available.
Our industrial Top Load Dryers (TL Models), with their larger work compartments, increased air flow, and greater heat input, are the most robust and cost-effective dryers in our line.
These chest-style dryers are offered with a bottom work rest or a series of full-length removable stainless steel steel hanger rods; enabling them to accommodate hanging racks, part baskets, or heavy parts up to 30" tall. They include 7500 Watts of heat for quick heat up time, and a MERV-4 removable stainless steel filter within the the robust 1,100 CFM air flow. The mechanically-assisted cover opens easily and can be configured to open 90-degrees to simplify loading with an overhead hoist.
As with all of our dryers, they are constructed and veneered with 300-series stainless steel and fully insulated. These dryers are available in 208V/3PH, 230V/3PH, or 460V/3PH.The four available compartment sizes range from 30" x 25" x 30 " to 68" x 25"
x 30 ".
Front Load Hot Air Dryers
Our Front Load Hot Air Dryers (FLH models) are designed to easily process trays, racks, or parts that require a taller work chamber. Chamber heights range from 30" to 57" tall. Heated air flows from top to bottom, making these systems ideal for drying vertically-hung tubular-shaped parts or for stacking numerous shallow trays of smaller parts.
Hanger rods and a work rest are standard. Side wall brackets, designed to accept multiple shallow trays, are optionally available. All systems include a MERV-4 stainless steel in-line filter. HEPA filtration on with a dedicated HEPA blower is optionally available. have horizontally sliding doors and a taller work chamber.
These systems have the same high air flow, heat input, and filtration combination as the Top Load models. Side-stream HEPA filtration is optionally available. The standard FLH-Style dryers have compartments that range from 25" wide x 30" high x 30" deep to 25" wide x 55" high x 30" deep.
Conveyor Dryers
Our conveyor dryers are best suited for continuous operations and/or high production requirements. These systems are available with manual or powered roller conveyors that carry the parts or baskets through the drying tunnel. Air flows from top to bottom, and as with all of our dryers, air is recirculated and reheated. A variable frequency drive powers the convection blower so air flow can be fine-tuned to minimize the drying cycle as well as heat loss. The powered conveyers incorporate a variable speed drive, enabling the operator to optimize the drying cycle while maintaining the production rate of the parts entering the system. Entrance and exit tunnels at either end of the system, in combination with heat curtains and/or optionally-available powered doors serve to isolate the majority of air flow and minimize heat loss. An air knife at the entrance tunnel is optionally available to remove surface water that may have collected in recesses of the parts.
Centrifugal dryers are most appropriate for small parts being processed in bulk. Due to the close proximity of the parts and resistance they offer to free air flow, these applications often present challenges to normal convection dryers. Centrifugal drying overcomes those obstacles and speeds up production by drying two ways. Centrifugal force from the spinning action of the basket "throws off" excess water, oils, or other liquids. At the same time, a turbine fan mounted below the basket creates a powerful suction that pulls heated air through the parts load for added drying power.
